Vision Statement

A homeschooling program for Years 1 to 10. We offer online and hands on activities across the 8 key learning areas. This homeschool program has been set up as an outsourcing program for parents to use who have entered the world of home education, or for those who are wanting to offer extra educational support to their children. We are a team of dedicated teachers working hard to deliver aspects of education in a virtual setting. In an ever changing world, we must adapt to its challenges and rise above. Let’s embrace this opportunity to support each other, learn and grow together and find new ways forward.

Testimonials

“I'm so pleased that we found State of the Heart. The whole process to join was easy and seamless, with so much supportive information provided along the way. Jaqulin and the team are fantastic and the learning via Seesaw is so user friendly and accessible. My daughter (9 years) is loving all the activities and she is learning so much in this new online environment. Even more so, I'm happy to see that she is excited about learning in general now.”

(Mariana, QLD)

“My 8-year-old daughter absolutely loves this program. She has found the platform easy to navigate and the activities have kept her actively engaged. She is absolutely loving it! Her siblings are looking forward to starting their learning programs too – especially the muscle building activities (boys!).”

(Emily, QLD)

“We love how flexible the program is. We go on quite a few road trips and we are able to take the work with us! We have also been able to upload our own ‘assignments of interest’ to the Seesaw platform which is in excellent way to keep records of our work as well as the work provided by State of the Heart. The support offered by the team is great too – always getting back to us promptly.”

(Leo, QLD)

“The flexibility of the program is perfect for my child (who has some learning difficulties). We are able to access and use the lessons at a pace that suits us both. The quality of teachers is fantastic! Our teacher is so approachable and available. The videos she puts together are easy to follow and understand. Her lesson content is fabulous and allows us to adapt certain aspects to suit my son’s learning needs.”

(Lara, NSW)

“We love this program. It is smooth to navigate and the response time from the teachers is fast! The lessons are easy to understand too. I’d like to thank State of the Heart Virtual Learning for helping us put together our learning plan for home-school registration.”

(Kath, NT)

Wise Minds Australia

Connecting the wise minds of teachers and families.

Welcome to a very exciting change in education.

Hi my name is Sara and I am a mum to a wonderful home schooler. We do things different to others and we find that every home schooler, every student and in fact every person is unique in their way of learning.

Wise Minds Australia was created with this in mind. My desire is to create a directory and space for parents to find all the answers or at least most for their growing children’s educational needs.

The directory is very much still under development and growing. We envision this space to be ‘the place’ where parents who want to have a deeper understanding of alternative schooling can use Wise Minds Australia first,  as they start or continue their parenting journey.

The Wise Minds Australia team and myself are working very hard behind the scenes to support teachers, parents and educators to connect. We are also providing opportunities to connect you with content and resources to assist your learning journey.

Happy searching and reach out any time.
